OUR MISSION

Building lasting foundations through the love of Jesus Christ.

WHO WE ARE

In 2012 Jason and I were in prayer seeking the Lord for our purpose in life. We had such a hunger to serve the Lord, especially in the area of missions. While in prayer I heard the Lord say, “You will complete what your parents began.” We knew exactly what that meant.

I grew up as a daughter of missionaries on the Wind River Indian Reservation in Wyoming. I was instantly taken back to memories of the hardships the Native Americans faced on a daily basis, such as poverty, drug and alcohol abuse, sexual violence, and suicide. I also remember the beautiful culture, Pow Wows, and their vast lands.

Over the next few months in prayer, the Lord started to give my husband and I a deep compassion for the Native Americans. The Lord gave me a dream.

In the dream I saw Jason and myself standing in a wheat field so vast. Our hands were gliding across the tops of the wheat as we walked through the field. Our hands were dripping with honey. Every time we went to pull our hands away they stuck to the blade of wheat and uprooted it. On the bottoms of the stalks where faces of Native Americans. The Holy Spirit said, “The harvest is ripe for the picking go reap my harvest!”
John 4:35 “Behold, I say unto you, lift up your eyes and look on the fields for they are white already to harvest.”

Foundations for Nations is a ministry looking to fulfill The Great Commission on the Wind River Reservation. Two-thirds of God’s name is GO! We will be the hands and feet of Jesus to the Natives and embrace them with the unconditional love of Jesus Christ!

“Therefore GO and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.” Matthew 28:19

*Only 3% of Natives on the Wind River claim to believe in Jesus.
